DMFL Week # 2 Game Summaries

            Durham Men's Fastball League
In the second week of the season in the DMFL we had two close  games and 
a mercy.
Wednesday 8:30 game at Alexandra Park, Oshawa Ravens @ Knights
The Knights scored 1 run in the 3rd inning and 4 runs in the 4th to 
overcome a solo shot by relief pitcher Phil Yahn in the top of 5th inning. 
That led to a 5 - 2 win for the Knights.in this abbreviated game that was 
stopped by lightning after 4 1/2 innings with the Knights winning.

In the early game at 6:30 Thursday night the Bombers rode the arm of Ryan 
Swift as he threw a complete game 1 hitter, 5 - 0 shut out over the Wranglers.
Third baseman Kyle Wingrove was 3/3, trp, hr, 3rbi to lead the Bomber offence.
