DMFL Week # 1

            Durham Men's Fastball League

The DMFL started the 2024 season with three games on tap.
First up was the League Champs Knights vs the Playoff Champion Bombers in the 8:30 game on Wednesday night 15/05/24.

The pitching aces rocked and the relievers got roughed up. Final score Knights won 7 - 4.
Knight's Clayton Robinson and Bomber's Ryan Swift both breezed through the first three innings. 
Robinson struck out 9 and walked 1 and Swift Kd 7 and walked 2. Neither surrendered a base hit or a run. 
The relievers of Hudson Compeau and Jeff Drinkle gave up 4 and 7 runs respectively.

In the 8:30 game Thursday night the Wranglers nipped the Guns 11 - 7 with an offensive barrage by both teams. 
Wrangler's pitcher Bobby Lewis did not give up a walk the whole game.
